Agami

Agami
Most people do not approach courts because the experience is slow, unpredictable, and disempowering. Agami empowers changemakers: innovators, technologists, and legal professionals to build solutions that expand access, transparency, and efficiency in the justice system.

Agami supports a community of justice innovators through fellowships, the Agami Prize, residencies, and national platforms like Justicemakers Mela. It also incubates technology-led public goods such as OpenNyAI and PUCAR (Public Collective for Avoidance and Resolution of Disputes) and enables collaboration across the legal ecosystem. To date, Agami has engaged over 1,000 legal entrepreneurs, convened 700+ justice makers at national events, and catalysed pilot tools that improve dispute resolution, legal data access, and citizen trust, building a future where justice systems are more inclusive and responsive.

The Harish and Bina Shah Foundation grant is supporting PUCAR’s technology development and programme management. This includes creating digital infrastructure, designing user-friendly tools, and coordinating efforts with the judiciary to re-engineer court processes and policies. The grant helps advance PUCAR’s goal of making dispute resolution more accessible, efficient, and people-centric.
